Winter Love picture frame
11)
Take
the glass and cardboard out of the frame. Place a sheet of paper inside frame
so as not to paint glass. Then use a brush to paint a layer of gesso on the top
of the frame (not the sides). Clean brush immediately in water.
22)
While
the gesso is drying, paint the love plaque with burnt umber paint. Let dry.
33)
Take
more gesso and mix with sand. Apply this mixture with a paintbrush around both
the outer and inner edges of the frame.
44)
While
frame is drying, pick 7 flowers and spray with distress ink or loosen nozzle
and drizzle down the middle of each petal. Let dry.
55)
Use
the shoe box to spray the frame lightly with blue spray. Spritz with water to
spread the color.
66)
Once
the love plaque is completely dry, spray or drizzle with distress spray.
77)
Adhere
the love plaque with 3D gloss gel. Use heat gun to speed up drying.
88)
Cut
3 small branches of raffia and tie with another short piece of raffia. Adhere
to the corner of love plaque with 3D gloss gel.
99)
Adhere
the bird to the love plaque with 3D gloss gel.
110) Use white liquid pearls
to draw a round circle in the center in each flower. Leave a hole in the
middle. Use gold liquid pearls to draw a dot in the center of each flower.
**Clean
brushes quickly after using gesso. If not, it will be hard to remove.
**Use
the shoe box when spraying sprays so they don’t get on other areas.
**Use
a wet paper towel to clean sides of frame.
